December 1923

Saijiro Muramatsu, our founder, established a factory in Nagoya under Malhaty Pump Kousakusho(workshop) and started manufacturing and selling hand-pushing pumps.

March 1924

The hand pump(Gachapon) with registered trademarks including Malhaty, マルハチ, Cascade Pump and others, acquired the patent and utility model. After that, the pump was disgnated by the Ministry of Railways and adopted by many railroad stations across Japan.

December 1937

Incorporated with a capital of J.Yen 200,000.

November 1948

After the Corporate Restructuring and Reform Act dissolved Malhaty Pump Kousakusho., Malhaty Pump Manufacturing Co. Ltd. was established.

November 1949

The trademarked name “Cascade” was opened to the public.

April 1965

A new product Lockless Pump, using the patented gear, was developed.

March 1968

Fukuoka sales office opened.

November 1969

Mass production and sales of Stainless Steel Centrifugal Pumps started with a catchphrase: "Delivery to any place across Japan within 72 hours.”

March 1971

Okayama regional office opened.

January 1972

Mass production and sales of various pumps, including process centrifugal pumps, started.

March 1973

Oakayama regional office upgraded to sales office.

August 1975

Osaka sales office opened.

August 1979

The patented non-valve self-priming stainless steel pump named “MINI” was launched.

April 1982

Komaki Delivery Center opened.

October 1983

Komaki Delivery Center was changed to  Komaki Center Factory.
In Komaki Center Factory, our production department was set up, and a new testing facility was installed.

April 1985

Fukuoka sales office moved to its current location.
Okayama sales office moved to its current location.

April 1989

Osaka sales office moved to its current location and upgraded to Osaka Branch.

June 1990

Large-size stainless steel centrifugal pumps were delivered to steel mills to reflect the increased demand for various steel products for construction, and steel sheets for automobiles.

July 1990

Tokyo Head office building was completed.

January 1992

METEC pump, specialized in transferring high-temperature electroless nickel plating liquid, was developed and launched.

February 1994

Received an order for pumps for a demonstration plant of waste plastic oil conversion facility.

April 1995

Started supplying tube pumps for oil spill recovery to the Ministry of Transport's offshore environment maintenance vessels.

April 1996

Slurry Pump for high-concentration slurry liquid for semiconductors was developed and launched.

April 2001

Komaki Center Factory was upgraded to Komaki Office and Factory, where our technical department was moved.

May 2005

Slurry pumps for Nickel-metal hydride batteries for HV Vehicles was developed and launched.

February 2007

Shimane Factory opened.

April 2007

High-concentration slurry pump for solar cells was developed and launched.

June 2012

Tokyo Head Office, Nagoya Branch, Komaki Office and Factory, Shimane Factory acquired ISO9001 & ISO14001 certifications.

November 2012

Shimane Factory expanded its warehouse and inspection facilities.

July 2022

Hiroshima regional office opened.
