Request from Customer
The customer worked on constructing a binary power plant in a hot spring site in the Kyushu region. The pumps used here had to be strongly resistant to high-temperature sulfate springs.
High quietness was also required on all equipment supplied for this project because the plant was to be constructed near a residential area.
Our Proposal
Centrifugal Pumps
- Selecting anti-corrosive SUS316 stainless steel material.
The liquid was found to be sulfate springs with a temperature of about 70℃ containing sulfate ions and chloride ions. So we selected SUS316 stainless steel with anti-corrosive and durability and developed the pump with this material.
We conducted noise tests(dB) and octave band analysis before shipment and delivered to our customer the products which had passed our noise standard.
Future progress?
- On top of this particular plant, many binary power plant projects are planned in other areas of Japan. Our negotiation for some of those projects is now underway.
- If you have any projects for similar facilities, please let us know the details of your requirements because the required materials and pump models vary depending on the water quality and temperature. We will select the most suitable pumps for your intended application.
- With the knowledge we have accumulated in the chemical field, we are also determined to contribute to environmental protection.
